Finding Nemo was Pixar's first film to win an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
It may have been 13 years since Disney and Pixar's Finding Nemo hit the big screen. Only this time, June 17, 2016 the focus has shifted to everybody's favorite blue-fish- Dory.
Director Andrew Stanton, the man behind the success of Nemo's story wants Dory's story to feel like the viewers are being told a story about someone we know really well. Therefore, he made it into a sequel where it set only 6 months after 'Finding Nemo'.
Dory had her spotlight during Finding Nemo, as she exhibited her singing skills and speaking in 'whale'. Let's find out what more she can offer on the sequel.
Finding Dory focuses on the amnesiac character of Dory a Pacific regal blue tang. She's on her next big adventure just to be reunited with her family. This sets off coast of California with the new characters- Hank the octopus, Destiny the whale shark, Baily the whale and more.( As we don't want to spoil you!)
