Marvel Cinematic Universe announces the shooting of Thor 3: Ragnarok; 4th of July marks the spot!

Thor: Ragnarok is a 2017 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero Thor. It is a sequel to Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Age of Ultron and the seventeenth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while also being the fifth installment of Phase Three.
Marvel Studios executive David Maisel made the announcement in a video for the Australian publication.
“We opened the offices in Gold Coast about three months ago and we start principal photography in Gold Coast Australia on Thor: Ragnarok on July 4 and we’ll be shooting there through to late October,”

Thor and Thor: The Dark World stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Hopkins (Odin) and Idris Elba (Heimdall) have been confirmed to reprise their roles.
Both Thor and Hulk were the only two Avengers who didn't show up in last month's Captain America: Civil War, but we'll get to see them on the big screen next year!
Trivia related to Thor: Ragnarok.
The July 28, 2017 release date of Thor: Ragnarok was previously held by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 until it was moved to May 5, 2017. Eventually, Thor: Ragnarok got its date moved to November 2, 2017, letting Spider-Man: Homecoming take the original date.
