Star Trek Beyond: Dubai Coverage
Star Trek Beyond filmed in Al Mas Towers, Burj Daman, Central Park Towers, Meydan- DIFC, Dubai will premier this July 22, 2016!
Stranded on a hostile planet, Capt. Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and the rest of the Enterprise crew face an alien threat.
Directed by Justin Lin from a screenplay by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung. Star Trek Beyond is the third installment in the reboot series after Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)
The film featured Dubai’s futuristic locale and it stood as the starbase far from Earth and the Federation central planets: Starbase Yorktown. A number of locals participated as crew and even casts wearing Yorktown uniforms.

Looking back couple of years ago, UAE isn't withing the radar of Hollywood and Bollywood- assuming that Dubai precisely, is just a venue for a quick stills and production will simply disappear. The whole strategy of Dubai Media has changed through the courses as Dubai's infrastructure continue to grow and 'rise'- successive big productions has been brought to the emirates.
Star Trek Beyond is said to film on the 22nd of July, 2016.
